Design Based Implementation Research

2nd Annual DBIR Workshop on July 21-22, 2016!

We enjoyed this past summer's DBIR Workshop so much that we're doing it again in 2016! Please join Barry Fishman, Bill Penuel, and Tiffany Lee for the 2nd annual Design-Based Implementation Workshop on July 21-22, 2016, in Boulder, CO.

Participants in the workshop will have the opportunity to:

  • Gain practice with using tools and routines for negotiating the focus of joint work in a partnership
  • Learn about ways to organize the collaborative design process equitably and to fit local circumstances
  • Analyze different plans for studying and using implementation evidence
  • Devise strategies for local capacity building within their teams and in local educational systems
  • Discuss approaches to publishing results from DBIR studies

We also plan to build in more supports to differentiate activities for new vs. mature partnerships based upon what we learned this summer.

Stay tuned for more information! We will share additional details as they are confirmed via the workshop section of the LearnDBIR website in the coming weeks. You can also follow us on Twitter for the latest news.
